NPORS 4x4 Off-Road Training

Any one who wishes to use a vehicle off-road as part of their work duties
 
Recreational 4x4 drivers who want to increase their understanding, skills and safety of their vehicle off-road

Maximum of 3 delegates

To teach the correct driving techniques for use of a 4x4 off-road vehicle to comply with the health and safety legislation

Each course will be trailored to reflect the previous experience of the learner/driver
 
Theoretical test including:
 
Principles of safety when driving off-road
 
Practical Test covering:
 
Pre-operational checks
 
Manouvering, around the site over varying terrain
 
Work related tasks, including demonstartion of difflock engaging and disengaging
 
End of shift user checks including re-fuelling and securing the vehicle
