Safe driving / operating techniques of fork trucks

Course aim:

To teach the correct method and safe use of forklift trucks

    • Operators safety code 
  • Intro to platform moving 
  • Starting, stopping & steering 
  • Platform stability 
  • Hydraulic controls 
  • Pre-use inspection 
  • Safe load handling 
  • Battery care / maintenance 
  • Weight assessment 
  • Personal protective equipment 
  • Personal safety 
  • Safe systems of work 
  • Racking systems 90 degrees turn 
  • Successfully pass a theoretical and practical exam
