Any one wanting to be able to drive and operate a Forward Tipping Dumper

No of delegates:

Maximum of 2 delegates

Course aim:

To teach the correct driving techniques and operations of a forward tipping dumper

Course objectives:

Theoretical test
 
Practical test covering:
 
Pre-operational Checks
 
Driving of dumper around site over varting terrain, laden and un-laden
 
Positioning of dumper adjacent to excavator for loading
 
Parking and dismounting during loading operations
 
Transportation of load from excavation to spoil heap on firm level ground
 
Transportation of spoil from heap and backfill an excavation. Using stop blocks / banksman where necessary
 
End of shift procedures
