Course objectives:	Day 1 Course Admin/General Safety Precautions and Objectives Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 Definition of a confined space Rick Assessment Confined space regulations Press cuttings of accidents Health and hygiene Dangers associated with rodents Safety harnesses / Standards, types, use plus care Personal protective equipment Introduction to emergency breathing apparatus
	Day 2 Hazardous atmospheres / Identification of types and basic effects on the body Practicalities of gas detection Typical apparatus types / How the function and limitations of use Safe systems of work Legal requirements Review of safe working practices including use of permits Communications and emergency planning Prepartion of practical exercises Practical exercises
	Day 3 Emergency first aid / Recovery position Resuscitation Handling a casualty Bleeding and shock
