This course is aimed at those who use or supervise the use of all types of abrasive wheels including grinding wheels

No of delegates:

Maximum of 12 delegates

Course aim:

To provide delegates with a thorough understanding of the hazards associated with the use of abrasive wheels and to comply with the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER) in the safe mounting of abrasive wheels and discs on portable machinery

Safety awarenss session covering hazards and safe systems of work
 
Pre-start checks
 
Inspection of equiptment
 
Practical session on changing discs
